{"id":10035,"date":"2020-11-18T15:46:16","date_gmt":"2020-11-18T20:46:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cheflorious.com\/?p=10035"},"modified":"2020-11-18T15:46:16","modified_gmt":"2020-11-18T20:46:16","slug":"loris-homemade-yeast-rolls","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/everthemes.com\/wptest\/portfolio\/loris-homemade-yeast-rolls\/","title":{"rendered":"Lori&#8217;s Homemade Yeast Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 10033--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Lori&#8217;s Homemade Yeast Rolls<\/h2>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/cheflorious.com\/staging\/3551\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/yeast-rolls-tnail-resize-150x150.jpg\"\/>\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>1 1\/4 cup evaporated milk<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp dry active yeast<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup honey<\/li>\n<li>3 1\/4 cup bread flour (if you don&#039;t have bread flour, all purpose flour is fine)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>In a small bowl, warm the milk to a temperature between 105 &#8211; 115 degrees F.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add the yeast and honey to the warmed milk.  Stir to combine and set aside to allow the yeast to activate, about 5-7 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>After the yeast has activated, in a large bowl combine 1 cup of flour, the activated yeast mixture and the egg.  Beat in a stand mixer until well combined, about 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add the remaining flour, salt and butter.  Knead for approximately 5 minutes until a soft dough ball forms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Place the soft dough ball in a greased bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm draft-free area to rise. (I place mine in my oven, turned off, light on).  Allow the dough to rise for 45 &#8211; 60 minutes until doubled in size.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Punch the dough down and separate into 12 rolls.  <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Place the rolls in a well buttered baking dish (approximately 9 x 13).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Cover and set aside to rise for 20 &#8211; 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Brush the tops of the rolls with better, sprinkle with salt and bake for 15 &#8211; 20 minutes until rolls are golden brown on the top.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remove from oven and brush again with butter.
