{"id":1272,"date":"2018-10-26T00:54:31","date_gmt":"2018-10-26T04:54:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cheflorious.com\/?post_type=recipe&#038;p=1272"},"modified":"2018-10-26T00:54:31","modified_gmt":"2018-10-26T04:54:31","slug":"seafood-lasagna","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/everthemes.com\/wptest\/portfolio\/seafood-lasagna\/","title":{"rendered":"Seafood Lasagna"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<!--WPRM Recipe 9605--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Seafood Lasagna<\/h2>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/cheflorious.com\/staging\/3551\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/seafood-lasagna-tnail-2-150x150.jpg\"\/>\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<ul>\n<li>2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined<\/li>\n<li>1 lb jumbo lump crab meat<\/li>\n<li>1 lb bay scallops<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves chopped garlic<\/li>\n<li>3 chopped shallots<\/li>\n<li>1 chopped yellow bell pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 chopped red bell pepper<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp chili powder<\/li>\n<li>1 Tbsp red chili flakes<\/li>\n<li>2 cups half &amp; half (or heavy whipping cream)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Lasagna noodles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the filling&#8230;<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup ricotta cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 cup cottage cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 lightly beaten<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Coat seafood in olive oil, 2 tablespoons of Old Bay, 1 tablespoon of chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. <\/li>\n<li>Place garlic, shallots and bell peppers in a large skillet coated in olive oil.  Cook on medium heat until vegetables start to soften. <\/li>\n<li>Add in seafood and cook together for 2 &#8211; 3 minutes; stir well to incorporate seasonings on all seafood and vegetables. Seafood doesn\u2019t need to cook completely through. It will finish cooking in the oven. <\/li>\n<li>Slowly pour in heavy cream (half-n-half) and stir to combine. Add remaining Old Bay and chili powder. <\/li>\n<li>As Cream heats up, add in shredded cheese and stir to melt. <\/li>\n<li>In a separate bowl, combine ricotta and cottage cheese, stir together well.<\/li>\n<li>Build the lasagna:<br \/>\nBase &#8211; seafood sauce<br \/>\nLayer 1 &#8211; noodles<br \/>\nLayer 2 &#8211; seafood sauce<br \/>\nTop &#8211; ricotta\/cheddar cheese\n<\/li>\n<li>Repeat 2 &#8211; 3 times. Top layer should be noodles topped with seafood sauce. Be sure all noodles have seafood sauce on them. The steam from the liquid will cook the noodles. <\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the top with cheese. Cover dish with foil and bake on 400 degrees for 55-60 minutes. <\/li>\n<li>Remove foil after cooking and check to see if noodles are soft. Use a knife or a skewer to push through the noodles to to confirm they are done. <\/li>\n<li>When done cooking, remove from oven and let stand for approximately 14 minutes before cutting.
