{"id":9449,"date":"2020-05-06T08:39:20","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T12:39:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cheflorious.com\/?post_type=recipe&#038;p=9449"},"modified":"2020-05-06T08:39:20","modified_gmt":"2020-05-06T12:39:20","slug":"chocolate-chip-scones","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/everthemes.com\/wptest\/portfolio\/chocolate-chip-scones\/","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate Chip Scones"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n<!--WPRM Recipe 9499--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Chocolate Chip Scones<\/h2>\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-image\" src=\"http:\/\/cheflorious.com\/staging\/3551\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/chocscone-tnail-ws-150x150.jpg\"\/>\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the scones<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cups sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp Salt<\/li>\n<li>1 cup butter, cold<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1 cup heavy whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the vanilla glaze<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 &#8211; 2 cups powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 &#8211; 5 tbsp heavy whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Cut in the butter and mix with your hands until the mixture is like small peas\/crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>In a small bowl, combine the egg, whipping cream and vanilla extract.  Mix well and add to the dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Combine the wet and dry ingredients together well.  Incorporate chocolate chips into the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Place the dough on a floured surface and lightly knead the dough to bring it together.  You will also need flour on your hands.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out the dough to approximately 1 &#8211; 2 inches thick.
