2 cups)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups chopped mushrooms (portobello or shiitake)<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves of garlic minced<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp crushed thyme<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp chopped basil<\/li>\n<li>1 Whole rotisserie chicken, meat and skin removed OR 3 \u2013 4 cups boneless-skinless chicken meat, pulled apart<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp all purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>4 cups heavy whipping cream (or half and half)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese + \u00bc cup to sprinkle on top<\/li>\n<li>1 cup shredded (or grated) Parmesan cheese + \u00bc cup to sprinkle on top<\/li>\n<li>2 cups chopped spinach, uncooked<\/li>\n<li>Lasagna noodles<\/li>\n<li>salt &amp; pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400 degrees.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Coat the bottom of a large skilletwith olive oil.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In heated olive oil, saute chopped onions and mushrooms until just soft.\u00a0 Add minced garlic and cook all until the garlic becomes fragrant.\u00a0 Add extra olive oil as needed to keep the skillet from drying out (about 1 tbsp at a time).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add thyme and basil, continue saut\u00e9ing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add the chicken to the skillet and combine well with the vegetable mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stir in 2 \u2013 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the chicken and vegetable combination. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stir in 2 \u2013 3 tablespoons of flour until the flour and chicken mixture have absorbed the flour (about 2 \u2013 3 minutes)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth.\u00a0 Bring to a boil.\u00a0 The boiling action will thicken the sauce mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>As the mixture comes to a boil, add 1 cup of each mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stir all together until cheese melts and sauce thickens as desired.\u00a0 If the sauce is thicker than you\u2019d like, add some chicken broth to thin it out.\u00a0 If it&#039;s too thin, dissolve 1 tbsp of flour into a small amount of water and add it to the mixture.\u00a0 Bring back to a boil to thicken (repeat if necessary to get the consistency desired).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Add chopped spinach and stir entire mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assemble the lasagna in a 9 x 13 basking dish.\u00a0Start by placing about 1 cup of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the dish.\u00a0 Next noodles.\u00a0 Next sauce.\u00a0Next noodles.\u00a0 Top with sauce(fully cover noodles).\u00a0 Sprinkle the leftover cheese on the very top.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Cover with foil and bake for 20 -25 minutes. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remove the foil and cook for an addition 15 \u2013 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and a toothpick can smoothly go through the lasagna noodles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Remove from oven and let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta-course\">Main Course<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Creamy White Chicken Lasagna Olive Oil 1 chopped yellow onion (approx. 1.5 &#8211;
