Quick and Healthy Breakfast: Oatmeal with Dates
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup Milk or water
- dash Salt
- Dates, chopped
- 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (to taste)
- Combine all except brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Cook according oatmeal container.
(I microwave it for about 5 minutes total. 2 1/2 minutes at first, then 1 minute intervals stirring between each one until desired thickness is achieved.) - Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir well.
